A video game company has sent a message of “GAME OVER” to “bootylicious” star Beyonce. Gate Five LLC claims that Beyonce “destroyed” its business and left 70 people unemployed a week before Christmas. Gate Five says Beyonce destroyed these people lives “on a whim.”

In a lawsuit filed at the Manhattan Supreme Court, the company alleges that it embarked upon a joint venture with Beyonce to market the video game Starpower: Beyonce, but she made a new and “extortionate” demand. The financier was driven away, finding “Ms. Carter” to be “erratic,” and then Beyonce also withdrew from the project. Gate Five lost the $6.7 million it had invested and says there would have been $100 million of profit if the project had bloomed.

The suit says that Beyonce’s actions were so “unscrupulous” that she was denounced by her father and then-manager. The company that would have financed the deal condemned her behavior as “morally reprehensible.”

Beyonce, the winner of several platinum awards, was originally a member of the group Destiny’s Child before going solo. She has also featured in movies such as Cadillac Records and Dreamgirls.
